This model was the culmination of practical research and science. It reached the pinnacle of reproduction of music for its time.
With the horns 29½“ bell diameter and it’s even longer internal conduit, the Mk Xb was designed to compete with the then predominant Expert Senior.
It “enabled Balfour Davey to report that 1933 had been E.M.G.’s best year ever, making more and better gramophones than ever before.”
